Chopeta "Cho" Lyons grew up in a multi-generational newspaper family and worked as a proof­reader at the Arizona Republic during graduate school. After 10 years of teaching college English, she worked in private industry, writing marketing copy for Coleco Industries, designing educational video and computer games, and eventu­ally becoming supervisor of Electronic Educational products. Although a writer and editor in her own right, her professional experience for the last 20 years has focused on production of multimedia products. She has managed software production teams and departments that design, develop and implement product for Fortune 100 companies, as well as other smaller businesses and corporations. Her responsibilities have included budgeting, resourcing, scheduling and creative design.
