Eliot Pierce
Eliot Pierce was named vice president, operations and strategy for NYTimes.com in June 2007. In this role, Mr. Pierce oversees business development, strategic planning and special projects. Previously, he was a director of product management and development for NYTimes.com since June 2006, and before that he had been a senior product manager for NYTimes.com since December 2005, overseeing the launch of TimesSelect. Mr. Pierce joined The New York Times Company as a product manager for NYTimes.com in July 2002. In his early work, Mr. Pierce managed e-mail, RSS and all of NYTimes.com’s premium products, including the archive, premium crosswords, and TimesSelect. Before joining NYTimes.com, Mr. Pierce held product management positions at The FeedRoom, CNET, and Snap!/NBCi. Mr. Pierce received his B.A. degree in history from Brown University in 1998 and his M.B.A. from New York University in 2007.
