Fran Hauser

President of Digital
Time Inc. Style and Entertainment Group

Fran Hauser serves as President of Digital for the Time Inc. Style and Entertainment Group, overseeing all business, sales, product development and production functions for the digital products of the PEOPLE brand, Entertainment Weekly, InStyle and Essence.  

In her position, Fran has helped to build some of the most successful online destinations in the entertainment and style genres, reaching over 20 million monthly unique visitors and generating over one billion monthly page views.   

Prior to her current position, Fran joined PEOPLE Digital as General Manager in February 2006 (and was subsequently promoted to President). Before joining PEOPLE, Fran was the General Manager for Time Inc. Interactive (TII), the centralized online publishing group for Time Inc., and prior to that Fran was a Vice President in the Programming group at AOL where she ran AOL Teens and served as a liaison between AOL and TII, developing opportunities for the two divisions to work more closely together.  

Fran spent 4 years at Moviefone, where she played a key role in the sale of Moviefone to AOL. Shortly after the sale, Fran was appointed VP, General Manager of Moviefone and AOL Movies.  Before joining Moviefone, Fran worked at Coca-Cola Enterprises, Ernst & Young and Price Waterhouse. 

In June 2009, Fran was named one of Ad Age's "Women to Watch", a list of the "30 marketers, media sellers and agency executives to keep your eye on today".  Fran was inducted into MIN's Digital Hall of Fame in May 2008. She is on the Board of Directors of both the Online Publishers Association (OPA) and the Young Women's Leadership Network and is on the Advisory Board of GlobalGiving.com.

Fran graduated Summa Cum Laude from Pace University where she concurrently received a BBA and MBA degree.
