Mark is the Director of Audience Development at the Dallas Morning News. Mark is responsible for the print and digital audience for all Dallas Morning News print publications, mobile/digital content delivery, email, search and social media. The Dallas Morning news print portfolio of products reaches over 750,000 readers each week making The Dallas Morning News one of the largest and most uniquely engaged newspapers in the Country. Over 30,000 readers each month comment on dallasnews.com content and the growing mobile audience consume in excess of 2.2M pages of mobile supported content each month. Mark leads the iPad and iPhone development team at the Dallas Morning News and is responsible for the strategic development and execution for B2C pricing for print, interactive and digital platforms. A 1997 graduate of the University of Washington, Mark joined the Dallas Morning News in 2007 after spending 10 years at The Oregonian, located in Portland, Oregon. Mark sits on the Newspaper Association of America’s liaison committee and is a community outreach chairperson for the United Way of Dallas. Mark has been involved in the Publishing industry since birth – Mark’s Grandfather, Fred Stickel, recently retired - at the young age of 87 – from The Oregonian where he had served as the Publisher since 1975. Mark is married to Annalee and has two children – Eva and Blake
