Susan Neisloss

President
WorkingForGreen.net

Susan Neisloss founded Workingforgreen.net, a video-based Web community reporting on the environment, in December 2008 out of her desire to use her media experience to help people make and save money, in the face of growing environmental and economic challenges. Her original content series is designed to be a new model for social media, where users share actionable information and stories on the environment that are motivating, entertaining and helpful in their daily lives.

As a former broadcast journalist, Neisloss holds a B.A. in English from Stanford University. Her site uses her experience in visual storytelling to travel the country, profiling “ordinary” Americans who are doing extraordinary things to help themselves and their community without government or corporate assistance. The Workingforgreen.net site enables users to share their video content, articles and ideas to disseminate information, build an audience, and attract sponsors to become a new model in the world of social media.

For more than a decade, Neisloss has been president of Big Bite, Inc., a Los Angeles communications firm, whose services include media, presentation and crisis training, and video production for a variety of Fortune 500 and non-profit clients, including Comcast, Pfizer, Preferred Hotel Group, DreamWorks, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
